      Pastoral Bio

Hi! My name is Victoria Apicella and I am so excited to be in ministry with you. I absolutely love being a pastor and I cannot wait to see         where God leads us together. I first articulated my call into ministry at 3 or 4 years old. It is a real “aw” story for my family. What makes       it even more “awe” inspiring is that I had a speech impediment and me interrupting the pastor during children’s message was the first           time anyone except my mother and older brother could understand what I was saying. I am very thankful for the call of God on my life,         even though I certainly denied my call growing up.

My family has always been supportive of my call into ministry. My mother, Sandy who works in healthcare, and father, Jim who works
as an executive level quality assurance manager for software companies, are my first call when I need to talk through a problem I do not
understand. My older brother, Gabriel, works in developing software for Nationwide insurance and is so passionate about his work. My
younger sister, Alexa, works in customer service for an insurance company; she is hugely passionate about getting people the care they
     deserve.

As a pastor, I really value the team and community around me. I am passionate about being in the community, getting to know people,
and talking with everyone. My leadership style is very team oriented and I appreciate all of the voices around the table. I love preaching, teaching, liturgy writing, and helping a church figure out God’s call for them. I spend between an hour and two hours a day in prayer for the church and community that I serve. I go on daily prayer walks in the community and pray with whomever wants prayer. When I’m not at work, I enjoy hanging out with my dog, Bru, knitting, crocheting, playing sudoku, and reading. I am excited to join all of you in ministry!
